The aim of this project was to develop a Student Centered e-learning implementation methodology which is based on academic literature, empirical data and practitioners’ experiences. The methodology is a five-step process to implement student-centered elearning. By following the process and using the tools developed for each step of the process; the methodology aims to prevent universities from falling into the common mistakes when implementing elearning and support their way for a successful student-centered elearning. It is important to make emphasis that this is a student-centered elearning, which is different from a more self-paced elearning approach that is currently dominating the elearning practice
